Shipping policy

At Sudbury Solar Solutions, we work hard to process and ship your order as quickly as possible.

Order Processing

Most orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been received and inventory is confirmed in stock.

Orders are not processed or shipped on:

  • Saturdays
  • Sundays
  • Statutory holidays

Some larger, specialty, or seasonal products may require additional processing time.

Shipping & Delivery Times

Delivery times vary depending on the product, carrier, and destination. While we do our best to provide accurate estimates, delivery dates are not guaranteed.

Estimated Transit Times

  • Ontario & Quebec: 2–5 business days
  • Western Canada: 4–8 business days
  • Atlantic Canada: 4–8 business days
  • Northern or Remote Areas: Please contact us for an estimate

Real-time shipping rates and available shipping options are displayed during checkout.

Tracking information will be emailed to you once your order has shipped.

Local Pickup

Many products are available for same-day local pickup, depending on stock availability and completed payment.

Choosing local pickup can help save on shipping costs.

Free Shipping

Free shipping applies only to products clearly marked as Free Shipping on the product page.

Free Shipping Conditions

  • Valid for standard residential or business addresses within Canada
  • Excludes certain remote or hard-to-access areas, including but not limited to:
    • Yukon
    • Northwest Territories
    • Nunavut

Some rural or remote locations outside standard carrier routes may require additional shipping charges.

If additional fees apply, we will contact you before processing your order. At that time, you may:

  • Proceed with the order
  • Modify the order
  • Cancel for a full refund

Receiving Your Shipment

Important: Inspect Your Shipment Before Signing

Please carefully inspect all packages and pallets before signing any delivery paperwork.

If the Shipment Appears Damaged

  • Do not sign as “Received in Good Condition”
  • Clearly note any damage on the Bill of Lading (BOL) or delivery paperwork
  • Refuse the shipment if the damage is severe

If damage is not noted at the time of delivery, the freight carrier considers the shipment delivered in perfect condition. In these cases, freight claims may be denied and we may be unable to provide a refund or replacement.

Damaged or Missing Items

If your shipment arrives damaged, incomplete, or missing parts, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

Please include:

  • Photos of the damage or issue
  • Delivery receipt or shipping documents
  • Order information

This information is often required for freight claims.

Important Disclaimer

If delivery paperwork is signed without noting visible damage or missing items, freight carriers may deny the claim and responsibility may fall to the customer.
