🔆 Solar Technician / Operations Support
Full-Time | 32–44 hours/week
$20–$27/hour (based on experience)
At Sudbury Solar Solutions, we do a bit of everything—from solar installs to helping customers find the right setup for their needs.
This role is a mix of field work, service calls, and in-shop support including warehouse and showroom duties. No two days are the same, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys hands-on, varied work.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with residential and off-grid solar installations
- Performing service calls and troubleshooting systems
- Shop, warehouse, and showroom support (organizing, prepping materials, helping customers)
- Helping customers with basic product questions and system support
- Preparing materials, tools, and equipment for jobs
- Following CSA standards and safety procedures
- Working independently and as part of a small team
💪 What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Comfortable with physical work and heavy lifting
- Able to work at heights
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Willingness to learn and grow in the solar industry
- Interest in solar, off-grid living, and hands-on work
- Experience with solar installations (asset, but not required—we will train the right person)
